This Privacy Policy describes how PlayFeed ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, "the Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

Information You Provide
When you create an account, we may collect your email address, display name, and profile photo. If you submit games as a creator, we collect the game files and metadata you upload (title, genre, description, etc.).
Automatically Collected Information
We collect device identifiers, operating system version, app version, and usage data such as games played, session duration, and interactions within the feed. We may also collect approximate location derived from IP address.
Analytics & Crash Data
We use analytics services (such as Firebase Analytics) to understand app usage and performance. These services may collect device and usage data as governed by their respective privacy policies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To personalize your game feed and recommendations
- To track game scores, streaks, and engagement metrics
- To review and process game submissions from creators
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- Service providers — Third-party services that support our infrastructure (e.g., Firebase, Google Cloud, ad networks)
- Game creators — Aggregated, non-personal analytics about how users interact with their games

4. Advertising
PlayFeed may serve ads through third-party ad networks (e.g., Google AdMob). These networks may use device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage and analytics data is retained in aggregated form for up to 24 months. Game submission files are retained for the lifetime of the published game or until you request removal.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Opt out of personalized advertising and certain analytics
- Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable

8. Children's Privacy
PlayFeed is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

If you access PlayFeed from outside the country where our servers are located, your data will be transferred to and processed in that country. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. For users in the EU and UK, we process data in accordance with applicable GDPR and UK data protection laws.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
